Our Story

Founded by Traisiah Ginn

Faith Based Collective was founded by Traisiah Ginn — a woman of faith, community, and purpose. Rooted in the belief that our gifts are meant to be shared, Traisiah created Faith Based Collective as a living expression of her calling: to help herself and others flourish. Her story truly began as she developed the spiritual maturity to seek the face of God, our heavenly Father, and was inspired by the biblical scripture Matthew 6:25-34. From then on, her course was set: obey the voice of God, serve his people to the best of her abilities and capabilities, and live the way God intended his children to live.

What Faith Based Collective Means

Faith Based Collective is more than a name — it's a declaration. It represents a community of people who believe that everything we do, from the way we care for our skin to the way we show up for one another, can be an act of faith. We are collectively stepping into purpose, together.

Our Handmade Process

Every product we make is crafted by hand using cold process and melt-and-pour soap methods, as well as nourishing balms.  Internationally sourcing organic and natural products internationally from their native countries and support local farms here in Louisiana, as well as in states like Florida. We believe in the art of making things slowly and intentionally — because the best things take time and care.

Our Natural Ingredients Philosophy

Homemade and handmade with natural ingredients allow us to control the results and the narrative we want our skin to tell. When you know exactly what goes into a product, you can trust what it does for your body. That transparency is something we take seriously and something we're proud of.

Our Louisiana Roots

We are born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana — from Scotlandville to Gardere, the Southside and beyond. We have seen the God-given beauty and essence of life this city has to offer, and we just want to improve it. Our products carry the warmth, richness, and spirit of the community that shaped us.

Community Involvement

Giving back is woven into who we are. Traisiah serves as a sporadic youth and adult Sunday School teacher at Jehovah Evangelistic World Outreach Church on Airline Highway in Baton Rouge, LA. Pouring into the next generation and the community around us is not separate from our work — it is our work. Traisiah is also a fervent prayer partner and public speaker at her current place of employment and to members of her surrounding communities of Prairieville, Galvez, Ascension Parish, and Baton Rouge, LA.

Our Mission

To express our God-given gifts and talents as we step further into our purpose and flourish in our calling — and to help others do the same. Every product, every interaction, and every act of service is a step toward that mission.
